Get Off Your Arse and Quit Sinning
I believe many who sin do so out of boredom and idleness. The old addage, “An idle mind is the Devil’s workshop.” has a point. If our attention is vague, it opens our mind to other stimuli. Well, Satan has plenty of things to throw at you. A few easy examples.
- self doubt
If, however, our mind is occupied, we can avoid a lot of that.
So rather than surf the net or zone out in front of Netflix, go walking, hit the gym, read a good book, say a rosary, exercize. If you ever feel tempted, drop what you are doing and take a prayer walk.
I am telling you that this works. Plus it keeps us from being lazy farts. So get up and do something today.
